www.yell.com is the web version of the yellow pages and you can put yourself on their site with a basic listing for free.
www.chb.com is The Creative Handbook and a basic web entry is free of charge. There is a focus on photography, design and audio visual companies.
www.freelancersintheuk.co.uk directory including artists, photographers, proofreaders, scriptwriters, event management, sound engineers... Annual fee of £49.
www.ukontheweb.com There are franchises of this company supporting each town. Cost £60 per year for a basic listing.

www.uktheatre.net includes directory of actors plus reviews, jobs, what’s on.
www.entsweb.co.uk The Ents web directory covers all performing arts including a theatre and musicians directory. Standard entry costs £10 going up to £65 for ‘guaranteed position’.
www.ents24.com Comprehensive listings site for theatre, comedy, music. Free to submit events.
www.rhpco.co.uk British Theatre Directory. Entries cost £49 per year and it costs £96 per year to access the information on the web. Gives all theatre and concert venue details with contact names and theatre company info.
www.thestage.co.uk/listings Free theatre listings for events. Email: editorial_listings@thestage.co.uk
www.danceweb.co.uk Directory including dance classes, resources/products. Text only entries are free.
uk.stagejobspro.com Online networking for theatre professionals

www.axisartists.org.uk A national directory of professional practising visual artists including work in all media. The first year is free and thereafter cost is £20 per year. You do have to apply with an overview/statement plus cv and images.
www.britisharts.co.uk is a new directory of artists and other arts info – not very populated as yet, but is free to put up information

www.creativematch.co.uk includes directory focussing on design, print, PR, photographers, illustrators. Registration free.
www.contactacreative.com focuses on illustrators and photographers. £25 per year gives you one image and listing on the site
www.mandy.com worldwide listing of jobs and services in film and broadcast tv
www.film-tv.co.uk Resource for film-makers including directory of production companies, facilities and companies
www.em-media.org.uk/pages/source Directory of organisations, locations, crew and infrastructure for film in the East Midlands. Registration free.
